New Kent County Community Fund
The New Kent County Community Fund, a component fund of the Community Foundation for a greater Richmond, is an initiative of the Rotary Club of New Kent in cooperation with New Kent County community groups, organizations, businesses and government.
Advisory Committee
The New Kent County Community Fund Advisory Committee is made up of community representatives who oversee the operations of the fund, fund raising and grant reviews.
Fund Management and Investments
The Community Foundation for a greater Richmond is the custodian of funds and manager for investments. Grant review and recommendations for grants are done by the New Kent County Community Fund Advisory Committee.
The Community Foundation for a greater Richmond was established in 1968 and currently manages over 1,000 charitable funds and assets totaling $876 million. During its life over $1 billion has been reinvested in our communities through non-profits in central and eastern Virginia. The Foundation is a qualified 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
